Archaeological monument of Egosthena

“The fortress of Egosthena presides over the eastern bay of the same name in the Corinthian Gulf. The location seems to have been used from the geometric to post-Byzantine years. The fortress was built in the second half of the 4th century BC and it is one of the best preserved ancient fortresses from antiquity.”
